When you  don't see friends for a long time you can forget why you love them and how wonderful it is to be with them. Seeing W at our place on xmas for the first time in a year except for briefly at two noisy parties lit our hearts so much that F and I went to his apartment last night for eggs benedict and a showing of the current Doctor Who christmas special. As a scifi and Who fan it was a real treat and being with him was a real treat as well. Just a reminder that the things we will miss most when we move are the people we like and love in Western Mass.

But I do hunger for San Francisco and a somewhat larger community to interact with, What an exciting challenge those millions of straight and gay people in the Bay Area will be after tame, small town white-bread Noho. It has been a long time now since I lived in a city with all its attractions and diversity. 

I do hear the Imp hunting is better on the West Coast (in joke for you know who you are).
